President, Ariana is a social work professor at Middle Tennessee State University. She has worked/volunteered with MCP since 2016 and served as the Board President since 2020. Ariana has also combined her passions for teaching and community-based research by having her data analysis students work with MCP by developing reports and presentations such as a description of client characteristics and client perspectives on their experiences with the emergency weather shelter. 

Vice President,  Kris McCusker has been a board member of MCP since the board was created in 2016. She is a professor of history at Middle Tennessee State University since 2000. She is married to Larry Puzzo and they have two kids, two cats, and two dogs. She is the former co-executive director of the Oral History Association.

Treasurer, Larry has been a board member of MCP for several years now.  He has been a banker since 1988 and is married to Kris McCusker.

David moved to Murfreesboro in 2003 and has been a board member since 2019.  After starting an e-commerce business in 2003, he has transitioned to running a Real Estate investment company.  David lives in town with his wife and 3 daughters.

Andy is a freelance designer and professional musician and has been volunteering with MCP since 2016. Andy has participated in all of the different types of outreach activities and currently directs our marketing efforts.

Ashleigh has been a board member since 2023. She has been the Director of Development at Lakeshore Camp and Retreat Center since 2022 and spends a lot of her time working with children and youth outdoors.
